Momo Ghar’s standalone Dublin restaurant has temporarily closed

The hugely-popular Columbus spot Momo Ghar has announced the temporary closure of its standalone Dublin restaurant.

The eatery announced the hiatus on Dec. 23.

While they’re aiming to reopen at the end of January, according to owner Phuntso Lama, it make take even longer for the eatery, which was featured on a 2018 episode of “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”, to do so.

“The closure is due to an array of difficulties. The 2nd PPP or the RRF could have saved us for sure. We did not get anything,” Lama said.

Momo Ghar’s Dublin restaurant, located at 2800 Festival Ln. in Dublin, opened last January. The eatery opened its first location in a small corner of Saraga International Grocery in 2016, before opening as a vendor inside the North Market Downtown in 2017. Its Saraga location closed as the restaurant expanded last year.

Fans of their signature Tibetan Dumplings–of which there are many–can rest assured that Momo Ghar will remain open in the North Market, according to Lama.
