Fork in Nigeria is back.

After closing on Jan.10, the Reynoldsburg-based food truck is officially reopening for business on Feb. 1. The bright-orange food truck is typically located at 6300 Livingston Ave., and its daily location can be found here.

“We really miss our customers and we are excited about the new year,” said co-owner Dr.Gachomo Shepkong “Some new menu items like the peanut butter soup and the intentionality of coming back to celebrate black history month.”

According to Shepkong, Google metrics show Fork in Nigeria is the most-searched African food truck in the country. The food truck also operates in Ann Arbor and Detroit, where it plans to open a brick and mortar storefront.

Shepkong added that Fork in Nigeria eventually hopes to open a Columbus restaurant as well.

“Currently we are working on funding and looking for the perfect location either Downtown or Columbus East,” she said. “Our goal is end of 2022 or beginning of 2023.”
