Already in nearly half of U.S. States, Scooter’s Coffee is breaking into Ohio, and adding a handful of newly-announced locations in the Columbus area.

According to a press release, Scooters franchisees Jayna and Zach Jansen are bringing locations to Delaware, Dublin, Marysville and Westerville. The chain will be adding 21 Ohio locations overall.

No opening date has been announced for the new stores.

The Scooters expansion is the result of the Jansens’ six-franchise agreement that brings the pair—previously located in Texas—closer to their family in Ohio.

“We had our first taste of Scooter’s Coffee in Colorado Springs and loved it,” said Jayna Jansen in a press release. “Every single person we talked to had only positive things to say about the company.”

Launched in 1998 in Bellevue, Neb. the coffee chain currently boasts more than 400 locations in 23 states, with commitments to open stores in seven more soon.
