New Afghani kabob restaurant opens on Morse Road

Just in time for cooler weather, a new kabob shop has opened its doors on the City’s north side.

614 Kabob officially opened for business earlier this month, according to an employee.

The restaurant, which took over the former home of Couscous House, is located at 1611 Morse Rd.

The new north side restaurant, which is available for both pickup and delivery, specializes in authentic Afghani kabob. Patrons can opt to build their own kabobs, or grab premade options like Jujeh Kabob (marinated, boneless chicken breast or thigh) or Beef Tikka Kabob (chargrilled filet tenderloin or ribeye).

Family platters feeding up to 10 can also be purchased, in addition to Afghani mint tea.

614 Kabab is open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
