The first annual Sausage Fest is coming to the East Market

Jack McLaughlin

While the term doesn’t always have the greatest connotation, is this context, we swear it’s a good thing: The first-annual Sausage Fest will take place at the East Market this week.

The Near East Side food hall will host Sausage Fest, an event spearheaded by East Market vendor The Butcher & Grocer. It will feature a wide variety of sausage tastings, and plenty of beer to go alongside them.

The event will take place from 12-4 p.m. on October 29 inside the East Market, which is located at 212 E. Kelton St.

Tickets can be purchased here. The price of admission includes a Loosen Your Belts platter, with six varieties of sausage, a side from The Butcher & Grocer and a 22-ounce souvenir cup with two drinks tickets for Garage Beer Premium Lager or any soft drink at Railhouse.
