New coffee concept located inside of Italian Village brewery opening next week

Zaftig Brewing has combined forces with Java Central Coffee Roasters to open a new location inside of the brewery’s Italian Village taproom, and we’ll be able to enjoy the inventive new cafe next week.

Java Central’s Zaftig location announced yesterday that it will hold its grand opening event on Feb. 16, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Zaftig’s Italian Village brewpub is located at 119 E. 5th Ave.

“Building the cafe into Zaftig’s brewpub was originally Jason Blevin’s idea (one of the Zaftig owners). He’s a home espresso hobbyist and loves what we’re doing in Westerville,” said Java Central co-owner Andy Piper. “We immediately thought it was a great combination and started working on making it happen.”

Java Central has one other location, a standalone cafe in Uptown Westerville.
