A whole lot of FOMO is on the horizon for Columbus, but that’s a good thing.

That’s because, in this case, FOMO is referring to not the fear of missing out, but instead an exciting new bar and karaoke concept coming to downtown Columbus.

The new nightlife spot, which is located at 165 .N. 5th St., will hold its official grand opening on Dec. 3, according to co-owner Brandon Adams.

The 5,000 square foot space will feature a full bar complete with space for live music. It also boasts a seperate room that serves as a dedicated karaoke lounge and dance floor.

According to Adams, FOMO Will used a cloud-based karaoke library that features “virtually any published song” for patrons hoping to just on the mic.

“This was important to us, as people who enjoy Karaoke and hate not being able to sing recent songs due to outdated systems and slow updates,” Adams said.

The new concept will not offer its own food, but plans to regularly host food trucks to ensure on-site dining is an option.
