New eatery featuring customizable, Asian-inspired bowls now open

While the fast casual, build-your-own format is a common approach taken by many restaurnst chains, one local family-owned spot is getting in on the action.

Evowok, an eatery featuring a wide variety of customizable, Asian-inspired bowls, is now open for business.

The eatery, which is located at 120 W. William St. in Delaware, held its grand opening in late August. The new restaurant occupies the former homes of Rocky’s Italian Ice.

True to style, Evowok allows patrons to select from a massive variety of toppings and sauces, all laid out before them as they move through the serving line and select what they wish to add. Patrons select their proteins (Chicken, Crispy Chicken, Steak,Shrimp or Tofu), before customizing.

nEwovok is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m until  9 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday.
