New Pizza Challenge invites visitors to try slices from across Pickerington area and vote to name the best

While the Pizza Connoisseurs of Columbus recently named their top ten spots for 2022, a new one-day event plans to name the best pizza in the Pickerington area, across a number of categories.

The Pickerington Lions Pizza Challenge, hosted by the Pickerington Lions Club and held on the second floor of Combustion Brewery & Taproom in Pickerington, will be held on Nov. 10, from 5:30-8 p.m. Combustion is located at 80 W. Church St., STE 101.

The event, which will donate 100 percent of its profits to veterans, requires a donation of at least $5.

Pizza Challenge attendees will be able to taste slices from eight different local pizza spots side-by-side, and rank each in the categories of best crust, best sauce, best pepperoni, best speciality, crowd favorite and more.
