A fresh slate of vegan sandwiches have arrived in Columbus.

That’s because Zammy’s Vegan Kitchen, a new eatery specializing in meat and dairy-free sandwiches and breakfast items, officially opened its doors on April 21.

Zammy’s is located at 1155 Worthington Woods Blvd.

Diners can look forward to sandwiches like the Cuban, BBQ Chick’n and Pesto Grilled Cheese, in addition to meatless burgers, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches and more,

“Everything is 100% vegan and we make almost everything in-house. That includes our burgers, pork seitan, egg and all our sauces,” said Assistant General Manager Storm Wilkins.

The 700 square-foot eatery operates primarily as a carryout spot, but Wilkins said customers can opt to dine in, as Zammy’s offers one indoor counter that seats four, in addition to outdoor seating for six people.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. every day except Wednesday, when Zammy’s is closed.
