Northeast Ohio pizza chain opens Westerville location

The Northeast Ohio-based chain Gionino’s Pizzeria is growing its presence in the central portion of the state.

The restaurant held the grand opening of its second Columbus-area eatery yesterday. The pizzeria is located at 103 Westerville Plaza in Westerville.

Known for its award-winning pizza, Gionino’s, also offers pasta, salads and its “soon to be famous” Italiano Fried Chicken, an Italian twist on classic fried chicken, featuring garlic, Italian herbs and more.

Gionino’s boasts more than 50 locations—all of which are located in the Buckeye State—with the vast majority of them in northeast Ohio.

The Westerville Gionino’s Pizzeria is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
