Ohio fried chicken chain opening in Grandview next week
While Grandview lost Sweet Carrot just over a year ago, it’s about to gain a suitable replacement.
According to its Instagram account, Hot Chicken Takeover will open its first-ever Grandview restaurant on Dec. 16.
The eatery is located in the former home of Sweet Carrot, at 1417 W. 5th Ave. Sweet Carrot, which served as a popular comfort food restaurant, closed its doors for good in the fall of 2021.

Hot Chicken Takeover, which began out of a walk-up chicken window in Olde Towne East, operates four other central Ohio locations.
