A 19th-century train station in Granville is now home to a 21-first century restaurant.

Station, a new restaurant and cafe concept from Chris Crader, the founder CEO of Grow Restaurants, the group that created Harvest, is now open for business

Located at 425 S. Main St. in Granville, the home of the city’s historic former railway station, the restaurant officially opened in early June.

A Granville resident himself, Crader saw potential in the site and felt the addition of a new eatery could widen the city’s dining options.

“Granville is where I live, and we felt like the city could use some breakfast and lunch options,” Crader said in an interview earlier this year. “Somewhere that focuses on better ingredients, fresh, locally-sourced food, and makes a killer sandwich.”

Station operates as a both a coffee shop and restaurant, offering fresh baked goods and bread, in addition to a variety of sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. The eatery also offers salads and several light breakfast items, like overnight oats in addition to biscuits, bagels and toast.
