Owners of Harvest Pizza converting former train station into breakfast, sandwich spot

Granville’s former train depot is getting a makeover this spring, and it’s one we can really get behind.

According to CEO of Grow Restaurants—the group behind Harvest Pizza—Chris Crader, The Station, a new Grow Restaurants concept, will open inside the city’s 19th-century former train depot, located at 425 S. Main St.

“Granville is where I live, and we felt like the city could use some some breakfast and lunch options,” he said. “Somewhere that focuses on better ingredients, fresh, locally-sourced food, and makes a killer sandwich.”

The Station will operate as a bakery and restaurant , serving fresh-baked treats like croissants and muffins alongside breakfast, breakfast sandwiches, and traditional sandwiches for lunch.

It’s slated to open next month.

And while The Station’a food will be the focus of the new concept, it’s locale will be another selling point, according to Crader.

“The building is the original train station for Granville, and it’s a great space,” He said. “We wanted to build a concept around that.”

Grow is also adding a brand-new Harvest location across the street from The Station. Crader said the new pizzeria will open later this year.
