Pizzeria that has served Columbus area for “generations” to permanently close next month
The Original Tiberio’s Pizza has served the greater Columbus area for decades, but soon it will be closing its doors for good.
According to a Tiberio’s employee, the restaurant will close at the end of April, meaning patrons have just under two months to grab a pizza.
The pizzeria, which was previously located in Lancaster’s Historic District, later moved to its current location at 2610 N Columbus St., just over three miles northwest of downtown Lancaster.

Tiberio’s, which offers pizza, pasta, sandwiches and more, is also well-known for its house-made Stromboli, which is offered in a variety of sizes.
And while news of Tiberio’s closing may sting for many Lancaster-area pizza enthusiasts, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. Tiberio’s is considering buyout offers for the space, which may lead to a new concept. The pizzeria will post an update to its Facebook page when these details are finalized.
