Popular fried chicken food truck launching new ice cream concept

The owners of The Tasty Good Food Truck have a cool new concept in the works. Literally.

The popular spot for chicken fingers announced in an Instagram post today that it plans to open a brand-new food truck concept, and this one’s dedicated to dessert.

Lady Sprinkleton the Third will be operated by Drew and Shelby Long, the husband-wife duo that launched The Tasty Good chicken in 2016.

The new concept is tentatively scheduled for an opening early next year, and their truck is currently under construction. If the Longs can refurbish the vehicle and secure the necessary permits before 2023, they plan to open early.

According to Shelby Long, Lady Sprinkleton the Third will offer a sundae bar, in addition to custom sundaes, floats and potentially even craft popsicles.

“I just wanted something I could be a little more creative with, something different than the chicken fingers we do everyday,” Shelby Long said. “We’re excited to get started.”
