S’wich Social is ready for the spring.

The Columbus ice cream shop, popular for its massive variety of cookie-based ice cream sandwiches, is almost ready to reopen.

According to S’wich Social owner Addison Brown, the dessert spot will officially reopen on April 1. It closed for the winter season on Dec. 19.

“We are very excited to be reopening for the 2022 season. While closing in the winter was always the plan, we’ve missed seeing our customers in the shop,” Brown said. “Year one in Italian Village was so much fun and we can’t wait to get started again on April 1.”

S’wich Social is located at 869 N. 4th St. in Italian Village

Brown added that S’wich is planning an expansion this year, although details on its new location have not been solidified yet.

According to Brown, S’wich will also be extending its hours once it reopens. It will be open Tuesday through Thursday, from 5-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, from 12-10 p.m. It will be closed on Monday.
