Popular Tex-Mex taco chain opening new Columbus-area restaurant

Later this fall, a new option for indulgent Tex-Mex tacos and more will be available to diners in Lewis Center.

According to a statement posted to Yabo’s Tacos’ Instagram account, the popular concept will open its new Lewis Center location on Nov. 1.

The new location was initially announced in the spring of 2021.

Yabo’s Tacos will be located at 5915 Evans Farm Dr. Located inside the Evans Farm development in Lewis Center, Yabo’s Tacos will join a host of new storefronts within walking distance of a curated new neighborhood.

The new location will also feature a full-service bar.

Billed as offering a “saucy” new take on Tex-Mex fare. Yabo’s Tacos has three other locations, in Hilliard, Powell and Westerville. The chic spot for southwestern food also previously operated an Upper Arlington restaurant, although this location closed following the outbreak of the pandemic.
