Sheetz is opening its first-ever Groveport store today

The ultra-popular gas station and grab-and-go eatery hybrid Sheetz is continuing to expand throughout the greater Columbus area.

Today, the Pennsylvania-based company is opening its first store in Groveport, located at 3999 South Hamilton Rd.

To commemorate the new store’s grand opening, Sheetz is hosting a number of customer giveaways throughout the day. In addition to a Sheetz family member being present for a ribbon cutting, Sheetz will be giving out $1,500 worth of gift cards to customers beginning at 9 a.m. The new Sheetz will also be offering customers free soda and coffee all day long.

The store officially opened today at 11 a.m.

While the very first Columbus-area Sheetz held its grand opening just last year, there are now over a dozen locations open, with more on the way, as Sheetz plans to open approximately 12 stores in the area every year until 2025.
