Take a first look at the new Short North jazz and cocktail bar, Ginger Rabbit

Jack McLaughlin

The owners of Chapman’s Eat Market–the restaurant voted last year as one of the 50 best in the country by “The New York Times”–have opened their newest concept, Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge, in the Short North. The atmospheric new jazz and cocktail spot, which was described as “a sophisticated experience,” with “a roaring 20s undertone,” is located on the basement level of 17 E. Buttles St. and is now open for business.

Featuring live jazz music, flavorful 1920s-inspired cocktails and an esoteric atmosphere, the new spot seems like it was plucked right out of a different era.

And now you can take a look for yourself.
