Tee Jaye’s closes Columbus-area location
Tee Jaye’s Country Place is down a Central Ohio storefront.
The beloved Columbus-born diner recently shuttered its Reynoldsburg eatery, which is located at 2435 Brice Rd.
It’s currently unclear if the closure is temporary or permanent, but the restaurant’s marquee signage reads “closed,” and the location has been removed from Tee Jaye’s website.

The concept, which opened its first location in 1970 on Parsons Avenue, is a perennial local favorite that features 24-hour service with diner-style food and vibes.
The Reynoldsburg Tee Jaye’s isn’t the only recent closure of note for the local chain. This summer, Tee Jaye’s former location at the corner of High Street and Morse Road in Clintonville was demolished to make way for a new Chick-fil-A restaurant. While Tee Jaye’s opened a new eatery in Clintonville this spring, located nearby at 4560 N. High St., the closure of the former High Street space caused a stir among many longtime fans when it was initially announced, in part due to the location’s iconic neon sign.
