New Columbus-style pizzeria now open

There’s a new pizza option now available to West Side diners.

That’s because Dough Boyz Pizza is now officially slinging pies from its Galloway storefront.

Dough Boyz held a well-attended soft opening on March 2, and is currently open for business.

“We had an awesome turn out for our ‘soft opening’ that ended up anything but ‘soft,’” Dough Boyz said in a statement posted to its Facebook page. “We appreciate each and everyone of you that helped make our night successful.”

Dough Boyz is located at 338 Hubbard Rd. in Galloway, roughly 10 miles west of downtown Columbus. The new pizzeria’s storefront is the former site of a Sparano’s Pizza and Mama Jo’s Pizza.

Dough Boyz offers thinner, traditional Columbus-styles pies, with a sauce that strikes a balance between savory and sweet.
