Three Ohio state parks are being temporarily renamed in honor of the Bengals Super Bowl appearance
The Bengals are going to the Super Bowl, and the entire state of Ohio is celebrating.
Yesterday, Governor Mike DeWine announced that a trio of Ohio state parks will be undergoing a temporary name change to honor the team.

This means Burr Oak State Park (Glouster) will become Burrow Oak State Park, a nod to star quarterback and Athens native Joe Burrow, Paint Creek State Park (Bainbridge) will be renamed after the team’s place kicker, becoming Evan McPherson Extra Point Creek State Park, and Hueston Woods State Park (College Corner) will be go by Ickey Woods State Park, after former running back back Ickey Woods.
It isn’t only the Ohio DNR getting in on the fun, either. Entire cities, like Hillsboro, Ohio, have joined in on the fun as well. The city temporarily altered one of its welcome signs to read “Welcome to Hillsburrow, OH.”
