Understory, sister brewery to Wolf’s Ridge, opening its Commons–complete with new bar space and kitchen–next week

Ever since Understory, the new sister brewery to Wolf’s Ridge, officially opened its Lounge earlier this year, it’s been a hotspot, boasting a sleek new interior and fresh craft beer.

Now, the Understory Commons, its final unopened phase, is ready to be unveiled. According to a press release, the Understory Commons will officially open on March 31.

Understory is located at 2571 Neil Ave.

Situated in the historic Open Air Building, the new 1,200 square foot Understory Commons is located on the building’s bottom floor. It will include a kitchen serving fresh, healthy fare and an expanded beer menu.

Keeping with the theme of the natural world heavily present throughout Understory, the beers brewed on-site will be lighter in body and lower in ABV, with many spending time in oak vessels to imbue a unique, earthy flair.

The Understory Commons will also connect to a 1,600 square foot patio, although the patio itself won’t open until later next month.
