Barrio Tacos officially opens its highly-anticipated new location at 15+High today, but if you’ve been on the OSU campus, you’re probably already aware.

That’s because, according to photos and video provided by partner Jason Beudert, a massive line began forming outside the eatery beginning at 7 a.m. Barrio opens today at 3 p.m.

You can watch the video below, which show the line extending from the restaurant’s doors all the way to the end of the block. The video was taken at 11:30 a.m.

The new eatery is located within the new 15+High development, at the corner of 15th Avenue and N. High St.

“The line is emotional to see since this project has been in the works for two years,” Beudert said. “We’re so grateful to OSU students for showing up for us today.”

The new eatery is offering free queso for a year to the first 50 guests, and everyone dining in today will receive a free taco.
