High Street Marketplace selling seconds, misprints, and overstocked goods from local vendors opening next month

Sarah Sole

Between the increases in the cost for gas and food lately, it can be extra challenging to scrounge up that extra cash for things that aren’t strictly necessities.

But if you’re looking to treat yourself or a friend without breaking your budget, you should consider checking out Overflow Market, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 2 at 2108 S. High St.

This is the first in-person event in over three years for Overflow Market, a maker and small business seconds sale. Products will include ceramics, greeting cards, supplies, art prints, candles, jewelry, planters, home decor, skin care, plants, books, fiber art, and more.

“Think samples, seconds, misprints, discontinued, overstocked, scratch-n-dent, floor models, and materials,” the event’s website reads.

The sale will feature samples, seconds, misprints, overstocks, floor models, and discontinued goods. Items could be misprints or feature small scratches, dents, or other damages. Participating businesses and makers include And Here We Are, Stump Plants, Wildcat Gift and Party, Koko the Shop, Mission Coffee Co., The Smithery, Hannah Offman Jewelry, Nichelle Monique, Shop Sylvies, Kiln Room, Igloo Letterpress, Four Eyes Ceramics, Secret Lunch, Olliver Lifestyle, Wax + Wane Handmade, and Sarah Harste.

Live painting will be featured on site by Miss Birdy, and food is available via Pablo’s Havana Cafe.
