Live out the epic Nerf battles of your dreams at this newly-opened “foam combat” center
We can grow up as much as we’d like, but the prospect of a high-intensity Nerf showdown in a massive arena setting will probably always sound appealing.
And for all you Nerf fans out there–undercover or otherwise–there’s very good news for you: Foam Warriorz has opened its very first Central Ohio location.
Located at 7719 Graphics Way in Lewis Center, Foam Warriorz provides a venue for parties and walk-ins alike to take part in Nerf battles in its roughly 6,000 square foot arena. The Lewis Center location open in early May.

According to Foam Warriorz owner Patrick Taylor, the concept is similar to a paintball venue with Nerf weapons. Visitors can take part in a wide variety of games within the arena space, including capture the flag, freeze tag, medic and many more.
Visitors can also opt to do combat with a huge number of different Nerf weapons.
“We have an entire wall dedicated to Nerf guns here, and it’s insane,” Taylor said. “We have everything.”
And according to Taylor, you don’t need to worry about being the only adult present.
“It’s pretty even for us; we get about 50 percent kids and 50 percent adults,” he said.
Foam Warriorz also has gaming stations with consoles like PS5 and Nintendo Switch ready for action. The location even has a bounce house for younger kids, as the arena is recommended for those above the age of 5, Taylor said.
The Lewis Center location is the fifth Foam Warriorz storefront in the country, with others located in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Lexington, Pigeon Forge, and another location that’s slated to open in Louisville later this year.
