According to a Columbus Police accident report on the Tesla that crashed into the Columbus Convention Center last week, the vehicle did so while traveling 70 miles per hour and losing control of its brakes.

The vehicle, a Tesla owned by Yellow Cab, was being operated by 63 year-old Frantz Jules.

According to the report, Jules lost control of the car’s brakes while driving on State Route 315. He then exited onto Vine Street, while still traveling at 70 miles per hour.
