New luxury living community owned by former race car driver opening next month

The brand-new luxury living community The Cody on Hamilton is set to become a hot commodity when it officially welcomes its first residents in late October.
Owned and operated by former professional racecar driver and Central Ohio native Cody Coughlin, the New Albany-area apartments blend elite amenities with a carefully curated living community.
Billed as resort-style living, The Cody is offering one and two room apartments that feature sleek stainless steel appliances, modern cabinetry, walk-in closets and patios in select units.
A resort-style fitness center is also available to tenants 24 hours a day, in addition to a luxurious pool complete with an island and waterfall, a modern fire pit, community garden, lawn games, a dog park and more. An interior Starbucks will provide residents with their morning cup of coffee without subjecting them to the annoying drive-thru line as well.
And while the amenities are attractive enough, according to Coughlin, the centerpiece of The Cody is its living atmosphere.
“The thought was to build a community that was a size that doesn’t feel like you’re part of a massive complex,” he said. “It’s not a factory; these are homes, and we want it to feel that way.”
Located at 7095 N. Hamilton Rd., The Cody is also positioned in an area that’s a growing Central Ohio hotspot.
“There’s just so much growth going on out in this corridor. It’s not too far from the new Intel site, which is going to be huge,” Coughlin said.”There are lots of other exciting businesses and HQs being built here, it’s one of the hottest growth corridors in Central Ohio.”
