Vince’s Muscle Shop raising the bar with 14th anniversary celebration this weekend

Since 2008, Vince’s Muscle Shop has served as the premier sports supplement store in the city, with it currently offering Columbus’ largest selection of vitamins, greens, workout supplements, lifting equipment and freeze-dried meals.

So it’s about we time we celebrate!

To commemorate the 14th year of the business, Vince’s Muscle Shop will host an anniversary party this Sunday, July 10, at its Columbus store, located at 828 Bethel Rd.

This weekend’s event will feature representatives from eight different supplement vendors, in addition to free samples from many, all of which will be held in the parking lot of Vince’s Bethel Road store from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

According to owner Vince Gazzara—who can still deadlift 375 pounds at the age of 70, mind you—the event is as much a celebration of Vince’s as it is a way for him to reconnect with all the customers he’s made throughout the nearly one and a half decades the store has been operating.

“I wouldn’t mind if the store was closed on our 14th anniversary. What matters most to me is that I get a chance to talk to so many of the great people I’ve met since we opened in 2008,” he said. “Times have changed a lot since then; markets have changed; even bodybuilding has changed, and through all of it I’ve liked seeing my customers.”

And if you can’t make this weekend’s 14th anniversary party, you still have plenty of time to check out the freshest addition to the Vince’s Muscle Shop brand: an entirely new storefront.

The new shop, located at 3379 McDowell Rd. in Grove City, officially launched in March, and is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The store offers the same massive selection of supplements and equipment, the same great service, and the same Vince Gazzara—with all of his 55 years of fitness experience—behind it.
