21-plus outdoor movie series featuring trucks, plenty of alcohol coming this summer

Jack McLaughlin

What’s better than catching some of your favorite classic 90s and 00s movies like “The Big Lebowski” and “Remember the Titans” projected onto the big screen, outdoors in the warm summer air?

How about the addition of local food trucks and alcohol.

Nightlight 614, the after-dark outdoor movie series that’s 21-plus, will return to Columbus for another slate of food, drinks and fun. The summer series will offer food trucks, visiting breweries and a beautiful view of the Columbus skyline at genoa Park.

You can find a full list of last year’s movie showings here. This year’s list of breweries and food trucks will be released on April 25 and May 4, respectively. It’s unclear when this year’s slate of movies will be released.

Typically held every other week until mid-October, Nightlight 614 is billed as a hip gathering spot for young professionals, as most patrons fall between the ages of 23-29.

Tickets can be purchased on a single-event basis, and season passes are also available.
