A “private luxury tattoo parlor” is opening below Budd Dairy Food Hall

From pizza to Southern cuisine and even lobster, the building housing Budd Dairy Food Hall offers a whole lot of variety for Italian Village patrons. And pretty soon, more than just food will be available there.

A brand-new upscale tattoo parlor is on the way.

“We are excited to announce the launch of our new Private Luxury Tattoo Studio @budddairyfoodhall Launching this summer 2023. Thank you everyone who has supported us from the very beginning, this wouldn’t be possible without your love and support,” a social media statement about the new concept reads.

The parlor will be named Ethos Tattoo. Armani Soriano and Max Mclean, a pair of local artists who have done private tattoo work for OSU, NFL and Columbus Crew players, are behind the venture.

Currently operating out of a private studio owned by Jimmy Javier, Mclean and Soriano will take over 2,000 square feet of space for their new venture on the bottom level of the building housing Budd Dairy Food Hall. A staff of six will join them at the new location.

Billed as a “private luxury tattoo parlor,” Ethos plans to offer clients a no-expenses-spared experience that is by appointment only.

“What that means is everyone gets a full day’s attention when they come in; They get our undivided attention, the best experience and highest quality,” Soriano said.

Additionally, the shop will offer a complimentary snack station and even numbing products to clients during their sessions. Ethos is even looking into the possibility of “no-pain tattoos” by bringing in an anesthesiologist.

“It’s something that’s happening a lot in LA right now. It not only lets you have a pain-free experience, you can have multiple artists working at once to get all the work done you want in one sitting.”

Ethos Tattoo will likely open in June, but an exact date has not yet been announced.
