614 Day is coming next week: From live music to lots of great beer, here’s your guide to the June 14 celebration

In case you weren’t already aware, 614 Day is very real, and very fun. Held every year on June 16 (which falls on a Wednesday this year), the event is held in pockets throughout the city as a show of Columbus pride.

We’ve rounded up a variety of different party spots and great local deals to help you dig in and proclaim just how crazy you are about Columbus.

Brewery Bash

Seventh Son has served as one of the unofficial-but-sort-of-official headquarters for 614 Day since its inception, and this year the popular Italian Village brewery is holding a preparty in anticipation of June 14.

On June 11, Seventh Son will host a 614 Day Kick Off Party at its taproom, which is located at 1101 N. 4th St. The celebration will feature live music, plenty of great beer made in-house, and vibes that are just as good.

Heart of the City

For the first time, 614 celebrations on June 14 are being moved to the Columbus Commons. It does seem pretty fitting to host a festival dedicated to a city filled with heart right in the heart of that city. The free celebration, which is all about “supporting and appreciating local culture, businesses, and communities,” will feature local food trucks, live music, artists, vendors, community organization, plus a whole lot of family-fun friendly activities, including lawn games. Workshops and more.

Your favorite Columbus professional soccer team is getting in on the 614 Day action as well. On June 14, The Columbus Crew has created multiple mini pitches (soccer fields) across the city

Beer Everywhere!
