Well-known national sports show host shouts out Columbus and a popular local bar while on the air

Former Indianapolis Colts punter turned explosively-popular sports talk show host Pat McAfee is typically known for his humor, but earlier this week on his national sports talk show, “The Pat McAfee Show,” he gave some pretty serious-sounding praise to Columbus and one of its entertainment concepts.

McAfee was discussing a recent trip to the Indianapolis location of Pins Mechanical Co. with regular show guest and former Buckeyes linebacker AJ Hawk, when Hawk notified him that the concept was created in Columbus.

Following this, McAfee took a minute to shout out central Ohio, while noting he partook in duckpin bowling, bocce ball and more. You can watch the entire clip here.

“Thank you Columbus, and thank you to [Pins’ owner’s], great place. That was my first time at one of those places; first time out in public in long time out just doing stuff in Indiana,” McAfee said. “It was a blast.”
