You may know comedian Michael Blackson (whose real name is Jafari Ferguson) from his appearance on 30 Rock and P. Diddy Presents: The Bad Boys of Comedy and more, but this weekend, he’ll be at Marlow’s Cheesesteaks.

According to Marlow’s co-owner Jomar Sheppard, Blackson will be stopping by the Gahanna eatery at 4 p.m. on Saturday to try some of their cheesesteaks and hold a brief meet and greet before his Saturday evening show at Columbus Funny Bone.

Marlow’s is located at 93 N. High St. in Gahanna.

Jomar Sheppard, who is from Philadelphia (hence the cheesesteak spot, which he operates with his wife, Shannika Sheppard) said his Philly connections landed Marlow’s the meet and greet.

“I actually went to high school with [comedian TuRae Gordon], so I’m plugged in with a lot of comedians from there,” Sheppard said. “[Blackson] will be here to try the food, get some drinks and meet customers. You’ll be able to take as many pictures as you want with him.”
