25 year old chocolatier opening second Columbus location this weekend – with a hot cocoa bar!

Chocolate and sweets are making a comeback, folks. With the new Wonka movie releasing next month, and the holidays sneaking up on us, it’s the perfect excuse to indulge.

And we know exactly where to do so. Tomorrow, December 1st, Pure Imagination Chocolatier is opening their second location in Polaris Fashion Mall. In the past, they’ve had a stall at the North Market, and they currently have a popular location in Grandview located at 1205 Grandview Ave. In 2022, Yelp nominated them as “Ohio’s Best Chocolate Shop.”

This locally owned chocolatier prides themselves on decadent and beautifully decorated chocolates and fudge. The owner, Daniel Cooper, said on a Facebook post that they’ll offer free chocolate strawberries all weekend – no purchase necessary. This new location will include a European-style hot and frozen hot chocolate bar, too, plus Swiss inspired chocolate fondue, with an array of fresh fruits drenched in chocolate, plus Swiss inspired plated desserts.

They’ll offer on site dining, which personally reminds me of going shopping and then to Friendly’s at my local mall for an ice cream sundae. Those are some of my most cherished memories, and it’s exciting that there’s a new opportunity for those at Polaris to make new traditions.
