64-year-old Cbus pizza shop named one of the most popular pizzerias in all of America

We know how much Columbus loves their pizza – there are dedicated Facebook groups showcasing pizza around the city, pizza meet-ups and trails, and constant, hot debates over whether or not Columbus-style pizza is actually good.

Turns out, it is. That crispy, well-done, thin crust, loaded with toppings and gooey cheese, is making a name for itself nationally – in fact, a local pizzeria has been included in PMQ’s exclusive “Pizza Power Report 2024,” particularly on the list of “25 Most Popular Independent Pizzerias in America.”

This accolade goes out to none other than Terita’s Pizza, a local, no-frills pizza joint situated at 3905 Cleveland Ave., that’s been around since 1959. Cbus locals have been ordering these high quality, Columbus-style pies for over 60 years.

PMQ, a national media group focusing solely on pizza in and around America, placed Terita’s at the 20th spot on the list. “To develop a People’s Choice ranking of the most popular independent pizzerias, we averaged out ratings for highly reviewed pizzerias (1,000 reviews or more) on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor and Facebook….Here’s a look at which pizza shops customers around the United States seem to love the most,” their website says.

A huge congrats to Terita’s for putting Columbus on the map, once again, showing that it’s not just cows and football in the Arch City like some people think – we’re a culinary destination, too. Looks like we know where to order pizza from this weekend!
