According to national food publication, this long-standing Ohio bakery has the best donuts in the Buckeye State

An Ohio bakery with a storied tradition is getting some large-scale recognition.

According to a story published on May 25 by Taste of Home, Bill’s Donuts in Centerville offers the best donuts in the state of Ohio.

Bill’s is located at 268 N. Main St. in Centerville, approximately an hour and 15 minutes from Downtown Columbus.

“Late night and early morning cravings alike can be satisfied at Bill’s Donut Shop, a 24-hour bakery with more than 50 varieties of doughnuts. Take a seat at the counter and go to town on a glazed pretzel twist or a cake doughnut made with applesauce or sour cream.,” the Taste of Home story reads.

Bill’s Donuts originally opened in 1960 in Dayton, before expanding to multiple other Ohio cities in the 1970s. Today, its Centerville location is the sole remaining Bill’s Donuts storefront.
