After almost 7 years, Columbus-area coffee concept will relocate

According to multiple social media posts, Gahanna’s long-standing Blank Slate Coffee truck has big plans on the horizon, but these plans will require some relocating.

“The exciting part is that the BSC truck has an awesome new chapter opening up, the sad news is that it won’t be in Gahanna, at least for now.  Gahanna has been home for 7 years. We can’t express how thankful we are for the customers who have kept our various doors open over the years,” one of the truck’s statements reads.

Blank Slate owners did not respond to a request for comment by the time this story was published, but a social media update claims they will begin discussing the details of their future plans this weekend.

In the interim, this means that, according to a follow-up post yesterday, the truck’s final day in Gahanna will be today.

It added that the concept would like to have a presence in the city it called home for almost 7 years, but that it’s “out of [their] hands at this point.”
