After closing for a year and a half, popular central Ohio pizzeria announces return

Pizzaroni’s Pizza is coming back.

The eatery, which was well-known among Columbus foodies and was even tapped as the Pizza Connoisseurs’ of Columbus Pizza of the Year award in 2020, originally closed the doors of its Etna, Ohio storefront in the spring of 2022.

And now, following rumors of retirement, Pizzaroni’s is set to reopen in early 2024.

“Well here is the exciting news that most everyone has already figured out. We are going to reopen in our original spot where it all began at 9450 Mink St. [in Reynoldsburg],” a statement from Pizzaroni’s reads.

The pizzeria is aiming to open on Jan. 3, but noted that this date is tentative.

Longtime fans of the concept should be pleased to learn that the eatery plans to keep all of its original recipes intact, as well, meaning it should be the same old Pizzaonri’s Pizza.

“Everything will be exactly as before. We will have fresh dough made daily and use the exact ingredients that made Pizzaroni’s popular. We will be open Tuesday thru Thursday from 3 to 8 and Friday & Saturday from 3 to 9. We also will be open Sunday from 3 to 8,” th eatery’s statement reads.
