Anticipated Grandview diner announces opening date

This time next week, on August 15th, you can stop in for a pancake breakfast at Grandview’s newest diner.

Delaney’s Diner, a 20 year old restaurant with Westerville origins, is adding a fourth location at 1105 W. 1st Ave. in the former Marshall’s Restaurant building. Their menu will feature diner classics, like breakfast sandwiches, omelets, french toasts, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, plus other hearty dishes to start your day out right.

Jeff & Lisa Miller are the owners of Delaney’s Diner. They have a passion for their guests and their employees. “Their belief is that creating a great work environment leads to an uplifting customer experience,” says their website. “Delaney’s Diner should be not just a great place to stop and eat, but also a fun place to work.”

The Millers don’t plan to significantly alter the longtime Marshall’s space – only cosmetic renovations are needed, they noted. “We plan to keep the same look and feel, and hopefully keep the same guests,” Miller said.

The bar area of the Marshall’s building will house Grand Tavern, serving craft cocktails, high-end beer and wine, and small plates.

Delaney’s Diner Grandview will be open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm starting Tuesday, August 15th.
