After opening in the Grandview area last spring, a fast-growing Columbus ramen bar already has a new location in the works.

According to owner Leon Zhu, Kyushu Ramen Bar will be opening a new restaurant. The eatery will be located at 6418 Pullman Dr. in Lewis Center.

Zhu said the concept is coming soon, but an opening date hasn’t been announced.

Last April, Kyushu Ramen opened its first restaurant, located 1280 W. Fifth Ave. The concept offers traditional Japanese ramen served to patrons in bar-style seating, and the new Lewis Center storefront plans to incorporate these elements as well.

The eatery offers a wide range of ramen styles, such as miso, shoyu and Kyushu, a hearty variety named for the island where it was created. Other classic Japanese dishes, including Gyoza (traditional Japanese dumplings) and Chashu Buns (steamed buns packed with pork in a speciality sauce) are also available.
