A Baltimore, Maryland-based bagel shop that was named the city’s best in 2018 is launching a pop-up location in Italian Village.

Bottoms-Up Bagels, the Baltimore concept known for hand-rolled New Jersey style bagels made from scratch, sandwiches and spreads, is launching an exciting pop-up inside The Daily Bar, which is located at 883 N. 4th St. in Italian Village.

The popular bagel concept is coming to Columbus as part of its traveling BUB Roadshow, where fans of the eatery vote on where in the country the pop-up will be located next. It will be in Columbus March 16-26, on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m., or until bagels sell out each day.

“The original concept for ‘The Daily Bar’ had a coffee shop that would operate in the mornings before the bar opened…so it was an easy (and eager) ‘yes’ when BUB approached us about partnering in a similar fashion,” said Dailey Bar owner John Blakely in a press release. “We’re so excited to have them pop-up in our space for a few weekends and experience how DB functions in an AM/PM sort of way.”

Bottoms Up Bagels, which is queer-owned and women-owned, first opened in 2015.
