Boozy milkshake bar from owner of popular Columbus-area bakery eyes opening date

The anticipated new location of an inventive Reynoldsburg bakery is could be opening as soon as next month.

According to a recent social media post from the inventive bakery and sweet shop Sugar Rush, the concept is aiming to open its new location over Labor Day weekend.

The concept’s new storefront will be located at 8114 E. Broad St. in Reynoldsburg, two buildings away from its current location. According to the post, the floor, signage and seating has been installed, and Sugar Rush is currently waiting for its final inspection.

Sugar Rush currently offers extreme milkshakes, cupcakes and a wide variety of unique rotating treats, in addition to custom cakes. The concept’s new location will not only expand its offerings of baked goods by providing five full display cases, but it will also implement an extreme milkshake bar and begin offering alcohol-infused shakes.

The bakery is currently open at 8130 E. Broad St.
