Ill Mannered Brewing has been turning out top-tier craft beer in Powell for the better part of a decade, and soon enough, it plans to do the same in Marysville.

This morning, the brewery announced on its social media pages that Ill Mannered plans to open a brand-new location in a historic Uptown Marysville building.

The new Ill Mannered will be located at 117 S. Main St., with a target opening date of late 2023.

“We love being a small neighborhood brewery in Powell, and as we looked to expand, we felt the best fit was to find another community location and keep the small neighborhood brewery mantra going,” a statement posted to the brewery’s social media pages reads.

The new Ill Mannered space will include a taproom, barrel house, private event space, and a patio with fire pits.

The more than 5,500 square foot building Ill Mannered is taking over was built in the late 1800s, and formerly housed Uptown Antiques, which closed last month. The unique, historical space will offer patrons a “pretty special beer drinking experience,” the brewery’s statement said.
