Columbus sushi bar recognized as ‘Best Sushi in Ohio’
When you think of “Ohio food,” sushi probably doesn’t come to mind. However, Columbus has some fantastic, fresh, sushi bars, and one of our restaurants has been recognized as the “Best Sushi in Ohio.”
A media network, 24/7 Tempo, released their list of “Best Sushi in Every State,” and Sushi En was ranked as the best you could find in Ohio. To compile this list, they compared reviews and ratings that appeared on multiple websites, including Eater, The Daily Meal, Travel & Leisure, Time Out, Thrillest, and other city and regional sites.

“Sushi En offers traditional sushi and sashimi, but with its modern Japanese decor of dark woods and colorful murals, it provides an authentic atmosphere to enjoy unorthodox specialty rolls like the Kinky Eel (eel, smoked salmon, salmon skin, and cucumber) and the Sober Monkey (spicy crabmeat, cream cheese, avocado topped with torched Cajun salmon, spicy mayo, Cajun powder, scallion, shallot sauce, and eel sauce),” 24/7 Tempo’s study says.
One Sushi En Google review emphasized, “This is such a cozy atmosphere for a small get together. The sushi is always perfect and doesn’t fall apart when you pick it up. The Udon broth is one of the best I’ve had and the noodles aren’t soggy. The shrimp, scallops, and squid are the best chewy texture. The Bulgogi is so tender and addictive.”
This “Best Sushi in Ohio” spot is located at 1051 Gemini Place, Columbus, OH. Along with phenomenal sushi, they offer traditional and authentic Korean and Japanese fare, like miso soups, dumplings, egg rolls, bento boxes, Bibimbop, ramen, and dozens of other choices.
