Cosmic Brownie, Snickers, Buckeye and more: This Ohio pizzeria is known for its dessert pies

Step aside, pepperoni; Not today, supreme. For a few days only, an Ohio pizzeria known for its dessert-focused pies is letting customers create their own crazy combinations, and we’re all about it.

From Aug. 3-6, Berwick Pizza will allow customers to build their own dessert pizzas utilizing a wide variety of ingredients and toppings. 

Despite it sharing a name with a Columbus neighborhood, the pizzeria is located at 205 Marion St. in Green Camp, just under an hour from Downtown Columbus.

Berwick’s build-your-own special involves a four-step process. Customers start by choosing a base (chocolate cookie, sugar cookie, cream cheese, cinnamon, apple, cherry, strawberry of brownie filling and peanut butter sauce are the available options), and then add either a streusel or chocolate cake crumble. Next, toppings (including M&Ms, Oreos, Nerds, Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast crunch) are selected, and the dessert pizzas are finished with patrons’ choice of sauce (chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, icing and caramel).

The build-your-own option is only offered for 12-inch pizzas.

If you don’t feel like creating your masterpiece, the pizzeria also offers a number of other dessert pizzas, including options like Cosmic Brownie, Fruity Cereal, in addition to rotating specials like Snickers, Blueberry Cream and Peanut Butter Banana.
