Eatery with multiple Columbus locations named one of country’s best spots for cheap tacos
According to a list recently published by Cheapism, one Ohio-based taco shop is among the best in the country for inexpensive, quality eats.
The story, which was published on May 4, names Barrio Tacos as one of the nation’s best for “tasty and cheap tacos.”
Barrio, although it was originally founded in Cleveland, came to Columbus in 2020 when it opened a location in Grandview. After a string of COVID-related setbacks, the eatery opened a second location in Columbus last year in the University District.

Here’s what Cheapism had to say about the taco spot:
Barrio lets customers build their own tacos, including many gourmet but free add-ons such as habanero-mango barbecue sauce and apple-jicama slaw.
Barrio operates 18 locations, including one in Pittsburgh and New Hampshire, two in Massachusetts and three in Michigan.
