The owners of Bob’s Backyard Barbeque have made another home for themselves in Central Ohio.

The eatery has taken over the former home of Bobcat Bistro and Convenience Corner, which was located on the bottom level of Brasee Hall on the OU-Lancaster campus.

The new location, which is called Bob’s Bobcat Bistro, opened its doors on Feb. 27, and even though it’s located on the OU-Lancaster campus, the new restaurant is open to the public, not just school staff and students.

Bob’s Bobcat Bistro offers a diverse range of menu items, from coffee, waffles and breakfast sandwiches to sides, salads, and the traditional barbeque entrees the concept is known for.

The new eatery is open Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bob’s Backyard Barbeque, created by Bob and Maggie Bennett, has become a popular Lancaster eatery, serving its own brand of “Ohio BBQ” from their first restaurant, which is located at 157 W. Main St. Lancaster. Bob’s also has a Pickerington location that’s currently in the works.
