Fat Kid Burgers now open

Jack McLaughlin

A brand new, neon-laden burger truck has opened in the Columbus area.

Fat Kid Burgers, which officially opened late last year, recently reopened for the summer season, and is serving its own brand of–you guessed it–indulgent burger creations.

The truck is offering a classic burger topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, dill relish and mayo, in addition to more creative options like the BBQ Buddy, the Bacon & Cheddar Deluxe, the Caprese Burger and the Arugula Burger. Rotating special burgers will also be available.

Fat Kid Burgers offers plain Tots, in addition to Fat Kids’ Loaded Tots, which are topped with cheese, bacon, sour cream and green onion. A kids’ menu with nuggets, hot dogs and sliders is also available.

Fat Kid Burgers is based in Westerville. It does not yet appear to be listed on StreetFoodFinder.com, but you can follow the truck’s social media pages to find out where they’ll be next. Most recently, the truck has set up shop in front of PJ’s Original Family Restaurant, which is temporarily closed due to a remodel.
